From the COVID shortages to today’s global disruptions, I am cutting red tape on consumer protection inspections, ensuring accurate weights and measures for fair pricing on food and farm goods, and incentivizing local growers to fill every gap. No more empty shelves or skyrocketing prices on feed, fertilizer, or family staples.

Defending Life and Strengthening Pro-Life Laws

I am standing firm for the unborn with every ounce of my personal conviction and public voice. As a lifelong Christian rancher, I proudly defend Texas’ heartbeat law, celebrate the fall of Roe, and call on leaders to keep abortion unthinkable in the Lone Star State. I am championing crisis pregnancy centers, promoting adoption, and supporting mothers who choose life. My faith demands it, and so does Texas.

 

Fighting Radical Islam and Islamist Influence

I am leading the charge against radical Islam and its grip on America. I called out CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood first, and now Governor Abbott and President Trump have designated them terrorist organizations because Texas demanded it. I am warning every Texan about Europe’s no-go zones and Sharia creep while fighting Islamist influence at every level. My faith and our freedom leave no room for compromise.

 

Parental Rights and Keeping God in Schools

I am standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Texas parents who refuse to let Austin bureaucrats indoctrinate their children. I am fighting for every mom and dad’s right to know what’s taught, pull harmful books, and direct their child’s education, including school choice. I am defending prayer in school, the Pledge, and the Bible’s place in our classrooms. My faith and our heritage demand that God stays front and center.

Defending Texas Agriculture

Water Security and Drought Protection

I am fighting to secure every drop of water Texas agriculture and families depend on. With the voter-approved $20 billion for the Texas Water Fund starting in 2027, I am pushing the Great Texas Water Plan into high gear – protecting aquifers, expanding storage, and ensuring farmers get water first during drought. Through my executive order redirecting Rio Grande runoff for irrigation and close work with USDA and the President Trump to enforce the 1944 Water Treaty, I am delivering the water Texas farmers need. I also oppose the Marvin Nichols Reservoir and any plan that steals water from one Texan to give it to another. We’re all Texans and we are in this together!

 

Invasive Pest and Disease Defense

I am defending Texas agriculture from every foreign invader – screwworm threatening our cattle, fall armyworms and cotton jasid shredding corn and cotton, rice delphacids devastating grain, citrus greening killing orchards, and corn leafhoppers spreading deadly viruses. Through iron-clad quarantines, rapid-response teams, and border biosecurity with USDA and Mexico, I am stopping these pests and diseases before they cost ranchers, farmers and consumers billions.

 

Go Texan Brand and Local Food Pride

I am growing the Go Texan brand that puts Texas-grown pride on every shelf and table. From Panhandle wheat to Gulf shrimp and Hill Country peaches, I am helping farmers, ranchers, wineries, and small producers reach new customers while keeping dollars in Texas communities. I am expanding farm-to-table events, young-farmer grants, and worldwide marketing so buying local is easy and profitable.
